A fun little pedal indeed! All the goodness of real spring reverb in a tiny package. What’s not to love? Sound wise, the unit has a slightly darker character. So it does an excellent job of adding ambience without getting in the way. A fantastic set-and-forget, always-on type of effect.

Keep in mind, if you knock the pedal, you’ll hear the spring bouncing around. So for live use, you might prefer placing this on your amp instead of your pedalboard. But those quirks come with the territory when using real spring reverb.

For me, where this thing really shines is in the studio. It even looks like a piece of studio outboard gear! I could envisage using this on a bunch of different tracks—not just guitar. Perfect for when you want that raw, industrial, lo-fi, thing that only spring reverb delivers.

Just love this and have probably been using it too much, haha. Obviously sounds fantastic on guitar and keys but has also been shining on snare and vocals re-amped from a mix session. On top of that it’s one of the sexiest looking pedals around
