So nice to have a go to parts solution for a new replacement device.
Certainly much better than a self fabricated solution, trying to match up old and used parts.
Trying to mount a generic head to some sorts of mechanical mounting configuration.
This is a direct drop in solution. I would suggest full replacement of the playback and the erase head . It is easier to setup and balance.
I will definitely shop Echofix again . I will also add that I at first was apprehensive purchasing off shore and the worried the hassle of international shipping from Oz . I was pleasantly surprised that it took no longer than many shipments that I order from the Atlantic Coast to deliver here on the West Coast.
Will purchase again !

I’ve installed two of these on different machines- an EP-3 and EP-4. They sound great and are the same spec as the original Playback and SOS heads. They fit as they should and are relatively easy to install.

Spot on to the original. If you need a replacement Echo Fix won't disappoint.
