PLEASE NOTE: There were variuous versions of the VU meter that were released.
This VU Meter is for serials number upwards of 49950.
To be 100% sure this will fit your unit you must measure the VU meter cut out. It should measure 50mm x 28mm.

The Echo Fix VU meters not only fit the Roland Space Echoes, they also are a perfect replacement for vintage Roland mixers and in my case for the stereo phase shifter/spring reverb module in the Roland System 700 modular synthesizer. It's a simple matter to swap to the printed back plate to keep the original cosmetics.
I thought it would take forever to get this from Australia but it came surprisingly fast. The part was correct and fit perfectly!
I would definitely buy from EchoFix again!
