It's kind of hard to understand sometimes how much a tape can make a difference to the sound until you hear it firsthand. I got a Stage Echo SE-300 recently and it sounded like it was on its way out. After a set of these tapes, a quick clean like Shane has shown on his videos and a tape head degaussing, the unit sounded like it had just left the factory!
