The Echo Fix EF-P2 is a real Spring Reverb pedal that packs a huge sound into a small enclosure. The EF-P2 features a three-spring reverb tank, adjustable Spring Drive, Bass / Treble EQ controls, and Reverb Volume control. With a footswitch for reverb bypass and also a direct signal mute footswitch, the EF-P2 can also be used as an outboard effect in recording studios. The EF-P2 can accept audio signal from synths and other audio devices, not just guitar.

The spring reverb in the EF-X2 is one of my favorite sounding spring reverbs of all time and although it’s a slightly different flavor, the EF-P2 keeps this same pedigree. It’s been so great to be able to grab a real spring reverb in such a small footprint to be able to use on anything and everything. Another fantastic design from Echo Fix.

A fun little pedal indeed! All the goodness of real spring reverb in a tiny package. What’s not to love? Sound wise, the unit has a slightly darker character. So it does an excellent job of adding ambience without getting in the way. A fantastic set-and-forget, always-on type of effect.
Keep in mind, if you knock the pedal, you’ll hear the spring bouncing around. So for live use, you might prefer placing this on your amp instead of your pedalboard. But those quirks come with the territory when using real spring reverb.
For me, where this thing really shines is in the studio. It even looks like a piece of studio outboard gear! I could envisage using this on a bunch of different tracks—not just guitar. Perfect for when you want that raw, industrial, lo-fi, thing that only spring reverb delivers.
