Please Note: These items are shipped from Australia and Import duties / fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Make sure that you are familiar with your country's customs, taxes and importing laws.

Note: Our tape is NOT BASF LGR-50 or Mastering tape which is not suitable for these units. Even NOS Roland tape that has been stored correctly is not recommend as it has sticky shed syndrome and we are seeing repairs with this tape jammed in the mechanism. It will also dirty the heads with the shedding oxide.

Incorrect tape or old Roland Tape loops can cause low echo output, tape jamming, distorted echo output, little or no self oscillation, incorrect tone and excessive head wear.

Over 90% of the repairs that come in to our workshop are due to faulty tape loops that were made with incorrect tape or old Roland tape stock.

If your tape echo has had any of this tape installed previously we recommend cleaning the heads with 99% Isopropyl alcohol and in some cases your heads will need to be polished to remove the thin layer of baked on oxide. We have a youtube video on how to polish the heads.

Brought My Chorus Echo Back!

I recently scored an RE-301 online and realized it wasn't functioning as well as it had been made out to. So I purchased this kit along with some extra tape loops, and set to work! This was my very first time opening a Roland echo chamber, and I took some extra time to clean and polish the unit with my own supplies. This kit ended up being really simple to install, and I found that I really enjoyed giving my Chorus Echo some proper care! The hardest part of the whole installation process was actually trying to remove the paper back from the green felt without accidentally removing the adhesive, but even then I only messed that up once! 😅 Thank you for including plenty of extra felts! Now the rollers all spin without issue, the tape bay is clean as the day it was born, and the echoes sound wonderfully smooth and lush, with the excess wow, flutter, and sticking tape issues totally resolved. I would definitely continue business with EchoFix, the servicing process ended up being so enjoyable that I may become a small local official Space Echo tech myself someday, who knows...

Repaired a RE-150

Great replacement parts! Easy to follow.

Only recommendation would
Be better labeling on the felt but you should be able to figure it out.
